Overview:

The Key Account Manager (KAM)-Direct Sales is responsible for managing key customer accounts maintaining long-term relationships and maximizing sales opportunities within these accounts.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Create build and maintain positive business relationships with existing and new Vestis customers
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profits from existing Regional Multi-Location and Single Location Strategic Accounts
• Expected to travel up to 20%
• B2B inside sales experience
• Demonstrate the ability to manage an established book of business at the strategic level
• Continuously look for growth opportunities within the current client portfolio
• Always be aware of acquisitions and divestitures that potentially could impact the revenue stream for the clients in their portfolio

Experience/Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors Degree preferred
• Demonstrated experience and ability to provide excellent customer service
• Possess patience ability to empathize and strong listening skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail highly organized with good time management skills
• Strong analytical problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Demonstrated capability to influence without authority
• Keen ability to challenge the status quo and build strong relationships both internally and externally
• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
• Ability to analyze data
• Able to present to all levels of the client including C-suite
• Successful completion of Criminal Background and Motor Vehicle Record checks
