Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (68 years) with strong automation expertise in Java and Selenium along with solid front-end testing capabilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable test automation frameworks ensuring high product quality and collaborating closely with development and product teams in Agile environments.
This role requires a proactive quality mindset strong technical depth and the ability to drive automation strategy across UI and backend layers.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Java and Selenium
Perform comprehensive front-end testing across web applications (UI cross-browser responsive validation)
Develop reusable automation scripts for regression smoke and integration testing
Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and early defect detection
Validate APIs and backend integrations where required
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint quality planning
Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide detailed test reports
Ensure adherence to quality standards coding best practices and test documentation
Continuously improve automation coverage execution efficiency and reporting mechanisms
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Must-Have Skills:
68 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Test Automation
Strong hands-on experience with Java
Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver
Strong experience in front-end testing (UI validation DOM inspection browser dev tools)
Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks (e.g. TestNG JUnit Cucumber)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
Good understanding of API testing (Postman/Rest Assured preferred)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Good-to-Have Skills:
Experience with performance or load testing tools (e.g. JMeter)
Experience with cloud-based test environments
Exposure to DevOps practices
Experience working with distributed or multi-time zone teams
Domain experience in Healthcare Finance or Retail preferred
