We have an urgent requirement for a casual Aged Care RN or EN who is already living locally in the Sunshine Coast region and ready to commence.

The Opportunity
Were seeking Casual Aged Care Nurses to travel across Cairns to support our clinical teams on the ground.
Youll play a key role in coordinating and facilitating rounds with GPs and telehealth appointments with Geriatricians Physicians and other specialists to ensure residents receive the right care at the right time.
This is a casual role ideal for someone who loves autonomy and variety while still making a real difference in aged care.
Working Pattern
We may require you to be available for full weeks at a time depending on location and service needs. Youll get your roster one week in advance.
Youll work on site at Residential Aged Care Homes (RACHs) during your scheduled shifts supporting residents and staff directly while coordinating telehealth consults. Although youll be using technology to connect with clinicians remotely this is not a work from home role.
Travel blocks and scheduling are planned in advance around continuity of care for our partner homes. While well do our best to accommodate your existing roster or other work commitments flexibility is essential.
What Youll Do
- Facilitate GP rounds advocating for your patients.
- Coordinate and support Telehealth rounds in RACHs across Sunshine Coast.
- Liaise with GPs Specialists and on-site nursing staff to deliver seamless care.
- Manage schedules documentation and follow-ups using smart technology (laptop provided).
- Build strong relationships with RACH staff and residents.
- Support the ongoing growth of the Access Aged Care service model through collaboration and communication
What Youll Bring
- AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum of 2 years experience POST qualification as either Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Aged Care experience (leadership or clinical coordination highly regarded)
- Strong IT skills and confidence working with digital systems
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Critical Thinking and strong clinical knowledge
- A current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
- A proactive professional and flexible approach to work
