QBE is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the MCCOG/MCEN mission per SOW requirements delivering technical operational and engineering functions aligned with enterprise network defense and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare implement and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy to include Assessment and Authorization requirements. Duties:
- Plan implement upgrade and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber resilient network
- Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
- Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports

Requirements
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering
- Masters degree in Cybersecurity Computer Electrical or Electronics Engineering or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to work onsite
- Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs periodically.
- Ability to commute to the required work location daily.
Required Certifications
IAM/IAT/IASAE I minimum
Preferred certifications
IAT III / IASAE II
