What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients staff patients and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site leadership and local emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas monitoring for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points verifying identification and/or authorization and directing visitors according to site procedures.
• Complete required logs incident reports and other documentation and communicate observations and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years law enforcement experience OR 2 years security supervisor/manager experience OR 3 years security experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
