THE POSITION
As aDirectorStrategic Sourcing here at Honeywell you will play a crucial role in driving Honeywells strategic initiatives and long-term growth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans conducting market research and analysis identifying growth opportunities and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives.
You will report directly to our Sr. Director Strategic Sourcing and you will work out of ourTempe AZ OR one of our other Aerolocations on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role you will impact comprehensive strategic direction alignment execution performance monitoring risk management stakeholder engagement decision support innovation communication budget management cross-functional collaboration long-term sustainability performance improvement employee development and competitive advantage. Your strategic thinking leadership skills and ability to drive successful execution of strategic plans will be essential in contributing to the growth and success of Honeywell.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement strategic plans for supplier resiliency and drive long-term growth with a best in class Resiliency program.
- Conduct market analysis trends risk factors and analysis to identify and monitor potential risk areas such as Operational Reputational risk Quality Human risk or complex risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resiliency within the supply base that will support proactive monitoring and mitigation plans.
- Monitor and evaluate scenario planning for upcoming economic tariff weather type scenarios.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead and manage the strategic planning processes for Supplier Resiliency
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in Supplier Resiliency Sourcing Digital Transformation Procurement business development or related roles.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful strategic plans.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to drive successful execution of strategic plans.
