Job Summary

Title: Frontend Engineer
Location: Toronto ON
Duration: Full Time

Job Description -
Own the design and delivery of high-quality features and enhancements
Provide estimates and actively participate in the sprint planning process
Develop highly secure and scalable solutions
Optimize performance of the existing codebase and perform peer code reviews
Work closely with technical leads and team members to design components and interaction patterns
Participate in technical and architectural discussions related to front-end applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product UX and backend engineering

Qualifications and Skills
Strong front-end development experience
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or
Experience developing and integrating REST APIs
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-focused features
Familiarity with automated build pipelines CI/CD practices
Experience using code repositories such as GitHub
Ability to work closely with UX designers and product owners to deliver excellent user experiences
Experience writing high-quality code with automated tests including:
Unit testing
End-to-end testing (Jest Cypress Playwright)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer-centric environment
8 years of web application development experience using Agile methodologies
Strong communication and organizational skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience
