Flight Control Systems Lead

Role: Flight Control Systems Lead

Location: - Montreal Canada

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Bachelors degree or higher in Aerospace Mechanical Electrical or Controls Engineering
Minimum 15 years total engineering experience
Minimum 5 years experience in flight control systems development
Demonstrated experience with:
o Primary flight control surfaces and actuation systems
o Fly-by-wire architectures
o Redundant control systems
Experience supporting certification of flight control systems (DAL A/B preferred)
Familiarity with EMI/EMC environmental qualification and vibration requirements

Qualification:
Bachelors degree or higher in Aerospace Mechanical Electrical or Controls Engineering

Skills:
Own the end-to-end flight control system architecture
Lead the design and integration of primary flight control surfaces
Define and integrate flight control actuators including:
Own flight control linkages and mechanisms
Define and integrate flight control surface position sensing
Architect flight control system redundancy and fault tolerance
Lead fly-by-wire system design
Support control law implementation in coordination with the Flight Sciences and Autonomy teams
Ensure compliance with systems environmental protection requirements including:
Lead integration validation and troubleshooting activities within the
Jaunt Systems Integration Lab (JASIL
Coordinate closely with:
Support certification artifacts
