AWS is seeking a results-driven senior sales professional to own and grow a portfolio of public sector accounts in Taiwan spanning central and local government agencies SOEs healthcare and life sciences institutions education organizations etc. This is a direct account management role focused on driving revenue growth accelerating customers digital transformation through cloud and AI adoption and delivering measurable customer outcomes.
About the Role
The Public Sector Account Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets within an assigned territory by building deep customer relationships identifying and qualifying new opportunities and closing deals. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts owning the full sales cycle from pipeline generation to contract close while coordinating internal AWS resources to support customer needs.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the number: Meet and exceed monthly quarterly and annual revenue targets across your assigned public sector accounts
- Drive pipeline: Proactively identify qualify and develop new sales opportunities through direct customer engagement partner collaboration and territory planning
- Lead the full sales cycle: Manage opportunities from initial discovery through proposal negotiation procurement and close including navigating Taiwan government procurement frameworks such as RFI/RFP processes
- Build executive relationships: Establish and maintain trusted relationships with CXO-level and senior government decision-makers to position AWS as the preferred cloud partner for the smart nation and digital transformation journey
- Develop account plans: Create and execute detailed account strategies that align AWS solutions with each customers digital transformation priorities and budget cycles
- Coordinate internal resources: Engage Solutions Architects CSM Industry Specialists Professional Services and Partner teams etc. to support deal execution and customer success
- Accelerate transformation and adoption: Identify customer transformation opportinity and drive upsell and cross-sell motions across AWS services and solutions
- Develop references and case studies: Document and promote customer success stories to support broader territory growth and marketing efforts
- Forecast accurately: Maintain a healthy well-qualified pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts to AWS leadership

- 10 years of business development partner development sales or alliances management experience
- Experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service or experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
