Responsibility:
Lead the assigned packaging design programs and drive the packaging deliverables including the structure lock artwork copy lock Printed artwork part number creation PKG BOM creation MP artwork review and release and PFOL review.
Collaborate with the product planning team for the SKU strategy alignment and collaborate with the localization team for the language setting and localization lead time based on the locked SKU strategy.
Collaborate with the program core team for the sample allocations including the ENG EPM REL and Dogfood allocations. Drive the proto and xVT pack-out exercises send out the daily pack-out reports to the internal xFN teams and lead the post build review with the OPS PKG xFN and quality teams.
Drive the open issue closure such as artwork discrepancies P0/P1 REL issues.
Drive collaboration with xFN teams including Packaging Design Creative Design Production ID Packaging Design Engineer Packaging REL Packaging GSM Packaging SDE Hardware PM Hardware Product Marketing Legal Regulatory Compliance Launch PM Product Planner and the OPS team (ie. OPM TPM MBM MPE PQE PQM) for the required information on the printed artwork and content development.

As a Packaging Engineering Program Manager youll lead complex multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish working with stakeholders to plan requirements manage project schedules identify risks and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices time zones and hemispheres. Its your job to coordinate the players and keep them updated on progress and deadlines.
Additional job responsibilities:
Build drive and manage Google packaging development (i.e. print and structure) with the collaboration of xFN teams including ENG OPS PM PMM legal compliance environmental compliance etc.
Develop maintain and communicate key focus points and next steps with engineering design operations marketing management and system program management. Improve and maintain processes that can ensure team members have what they need to understand and execute on all objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering a related field or equivalent practical experience.
At least 3 years of program management experience in Consumer Hardware/Electronics industry.
At least 2 years of direct experience in a packaging program management or package engineering role.
Experience in the creative design
Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
Experience in working with vendors in Asia
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree.
Experience working with project management tools.
Experience with packaging print development and production process and shipping high volume and high quality products.
Experience leading cross-functional and international teams/projects
Experience conducting the effective presentation and communication to the leadership team
Ability to capture the big picture focus on key points and improve processes.
