About therole:

We arecurrently seeking causal Residential Support Workers to join ourteam in Gladstone.

OurSupport Workers will support young people by providing a sense ofsafety structure acceptance stability and security in ourResidential Care homes and in the community.

Whatwill a typical day look like

• Shift work
• Engage with young people to support them in all aspects of life both in the home and wider community.
• Implement strategies identified in the care plan and participate in review of care plans to ensure young people have clear relevant and achievable goals.
• Support planned contact and connectedness to family as approved by child safety services.
• Support social recreational educational and health activities for young people in line with their individual care plan.

MandatoryRequirements:

• Certificate IV in Child Youth and Family Intervention/Community Services or working toward this qualification (proof of enrolment required).

• Ability to obtain a Blue Card (working with children check positive notice or exemption)
• Ability to obtain a Yellow Card (disability services positive notice or exemption notice)
