Job Description
As a Security Guard - Flex Patrol Rounds in Pittsburgh PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to alarms disturbances suspicious activity and other incidents in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas exterior perimeter parking areas and common walkways to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
- Control access by monitoring entry points observing for prohibited behavior and assisting with basic directions and customer inquiries as appropriate for the location.
- Complete detailed reports on daily activities observations and incidents and communicate key updates to supervisors and/or site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
