Platform Optimisation
- You will update and optimise our data platform for speed scalability and cost efficiency continuously improving how we store process and serve data.
- You will evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies where they can meaningfully improve platform performance or reduce operational overhead.
Collaboration and amp; Stakeholder Support
- You will coordinate with different functional teams to understand their data needs and ensure the platform is built to meet them effectively.
- You will contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing documenting your work clearly and supporting teammates in understanding the systems you build.
What Success looks like
- Data pipelines are live reliable and processing large volumes of data accurately with minimal downtime or data quality incidents.
- Platform speed scalability and cost metrics show measurable improvements over time as a result of ongoing optimisation efforts.

To be considered for this role you should have
- 5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong accomplishments that demonstrate the depth of your expertise.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics Engineering or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and solid proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud AWS or Azure.
- Experience using version control tools such as Git.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
