IDS Coordinator

Essential Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing 3D civil infrastructure models (roads bridges earthworks utilities etc.) from engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Produce construction drawings and deliverables from digital models.
• Support model-based quantity take-offs and volume calculations to assist estimating and project planning.
• Support model-related project coordination with engineers survey teams and construction staff.
• Assist in conducting clash detection activities and 4D simulation.
• Support the integration and coordination of 3D laser scans/point cloud data.
• Participate in model reviews and quality checks.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D. Exposure to Trimble Business Center Navisworks and parametric modelling is beneficial.
• Educational background in civil engineering surveying geomatics or a related discipline is considered an asset.
• Interest or basic experience in civil infrastructure or heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies in models drawings and project data.
• Experience or exposure to BIM implementation practices is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication planning and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a team environment self-motivated and eager to learn and take on new challenges.

Work Conditions:

• Office and site-based position
• 40 hrs per week Monday to Friday
