About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Accounting Analyst. This role will be based in 6750 Building Makati City Philippines.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
DAILY CASH RECONCILIATION and EXCEPTIONS HANDLING
Review and perform daily cash reconciliation and exception handling for Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) or Commission Agent (CA) stations to ensure that cash deposited in the bank agrees with the reported cash received in the Retail System.
Report all exceptions noted during the performance of daily cash reconciliation. Follow - up responses to exceptions as necessary.
Prepare and submit applicable reports.
BANK and ACCOUNT RECONCILIATION
Perform monthly bank reconciliation for COCO/CA station bank accounts.
Perform monthly account reconciliation on assigned MOP accounts.
Review analyze and investigate reconciling items noted in the reconciliation in collaboration with the in-country COCO/CA Accountant.
Trace and escalate reconciling items following FSS trace and escalation standards.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Perform Shift Summary to generate entries in Retail System general ledger.
Validate Retail System to SAP interfaces of COCO/CA wetstock sales transactions. Resolve any errors encountered during the upload.
Group mailbox handling and monitoring.
Perform other daily activities as deemed applicable.
MONTH END CLOSING ACTIVITIES
Validate Retail System to SAP interfaces for monthly Revenue and COGS
Ensure all relevant station transactions are recorded in the month
Prepare journal entries for adjustments arising from operational or technical issues.
Prepare and submit post close (MEC) reports.
OTHER INITIATIVES AND ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTION
Provide support to customers on initiatives/projects
Initiate process improvements
Participate in trainings and self-study courses/knowledge sharing sessions
Ensure all accounting records and supporting documents relating to the above are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and corporate record retention policies.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Bachelors Degree major in Accountancy Management Accounting Accounting Technology and related courses.
Demonstrated experience and background in Finance Accounting and/or Audit work
Effective communicator and able to build relationships with various stakeholders and teams
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Innovative and has passion for learning digital tools and technologies
Experience and knowledge in digital tools and other technology systems is an advantage
