About the opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and organised People & Workforce Officer to join our supportive People & Workforce team. This role plays an important part in supporting the delivery of contemporary human resource practices across the health service contributing to positive workforce experiences and effective people management.
Working closely with the People & Workforce team Finance/Payroll and department managers you will provide administrative and operational support across key stages of the employee life-cycle. This includes assisting with recruitment and onboarding maintaining employment documentation and workforce systems supporting performance and professional development processes and helping ensure people practices are delivered in line with organisational policies and relevant legislation.
This is a part-time position of 16 hours per week (typically across two days). However we value flexibility and are happy to consider alternative arrangements such as fewer hours spread across more days. We welcome conversations with applicants about how the role could work best for you.

Tallangatta Health Service is a 61 bed small rural public health service providing a mix of acute sub-acute aged care residential and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district.
