Lot Operations Specialist

Regal Car Sales and Credit is looking for a reliable detail oriented team member to assist with the inspection and preparation of wholesale vehicles prior to shipping for our franchise locations.

This is a hands-on role for someone that enjoys a shop setting and wants a steady routine-process based position - this is NOT a mechanic job and there are no major vehicle repairs required.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring our vehicles arrive front-line ready while reducing unnecessary transport paperwork and mechanical reworks at a lot level.

Job Responsibilities:

• Inspect Incoming Wholesale Vehicles
  • Conducting a Visual Walkaround Test Drive Battery/Fluid Check
• Run a Basic Diagnostic Scanner to Check for Mechanical Codes or Other Issues
  • Equipment and All Needed Training Provided
• Install GPS devices and Apply Window Stickers
  • Equipment and All Needed Training Provided
• Flag Any Issues PRIOR to Shipping for Further Assessment if Needed
• Communicate and Work Directly with Wholesalers to Attend to Found Issues
• Coordinate Shipping Details with our Internal Transport Team and Management Teams at Individual Lots

  • Experience that may give you an edge includes: dealership positions lube shop parts supplier automotive recon lot porter etc.
• Are you comfortable driving a variety of vehicle types
  • Cars Trucks SUVs automatic transmissions manual transmission etc.
• Do you have a strong attention to detail
• Do you enjoy having a clear checklist and a set routine
• Do you have the ability to work independently but in a group setting

This job is NOT:

• A Mechanic Position
• Does NOT Include Major Mechanical or Engine Work
• NO Sales or Customer Interaction

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a VALID State Drivers License and a Good Driving Record

Must be Willing to Work a 40 Hour Work-Week
