The Tax Manager North America is responsible for overseeing all tax compliance reporting and planning activities across the region. This role ensures compliance with federal state/provincial and local tax regulations in the U.S. and Canada while also supporting strategic tax planning to optimize the companys overall tax position. The Tax Manager will work closely with finance accounting and external advisors to manage corporate income tax indirect taxes (sales use VAT GST/HST) transfer pricing and tax audits.

This position plays a key role in providing guidance on the tax implications of business operations transactions and cross-border activities as well as ensuring accurate and timely filing of all required tax returns. The role requires strong technical knowledge of North American tax laws excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex tax matters to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Job Description

Mission:
Coordinate schedule and implement the projects he/she leads within his/her operating area based on established standards and procedures developing suitable solutions to errors in approach and specific issues of each situation/internal client.

Sub-function responsible for the organisations tax matters and optimising the organisations tax situation. Its main duties include: the calculation of tax obligations drawing up of tax statements and the submission of these investigation analysis and interpretation for purposes of compliance planning and tax optimisation.
