Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on international corporate tax matters including double taxation agreements withholding tax and Pillar 2 developments.
- Prepare and review detailed tax opinions advisory memoranda and professional correspondence.
- Manage tax dispute resolution processes including objections and appeals with relevant revenue authorities.
- Design and implement FTO structures and other cross-border tax planning solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams to support financial modelling technical analysis and knowledge development.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualified Lawyer OR CA(SA) a legal background will be advantageous.
- 7 to 10 years post-articles experience with strong exposure to international corporate tax transfer pricing African tax jurisdictions and advisory work.
- Excellent technical writing tax structuring and client engagement skills. Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a small collaborative team environment.
