Project Assistant


What You Will Be Doing:

The Project Assistant position is responsible for coordinating and implementation of ongoing program activities as they relate to hospital communications program monitoring policy planning Legislative Liaison and Governing Body support. Active role in division-wide mission drives strategic planning process to ensure updates occurring with each committee meeting. Monitoring milestone progress for each strategic goal throughout the year. Will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of an intranet site using SharePoint. Works closely with hospital leadership and cross-functional teams to design build and maintain an intuitive and user-friendly platform that facilitates information sharing collaboration and access to resources across API. The incumbent will be scheduling and attending the Governing Body meetings and sub-committee meetings running the electronics/computer presentations preparing agendas and gathering documents to be covered during meetings. Works with the Commissioners office to post public notice of Governing Body meetings and archives meeting minutes/packets.

The Working Environment You Can Expect:

The selected candidate will work in an environment that is fast paced busy and challenging at times but embraces collaboration through working closely with supervisors managers and personnel to assist in providing services to Alaska Psychiatric Institute.

This position is located at 3700 Piper Street in the U-MED district of east Anchorage which offers several maintained walking trails parks and nearby lakes. This area is filled with several restaurants shopping stores and has easy access to public transportation.

Any combination of education and/or experience that provides the applicant with competencies in
