We are inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Senior Data Architect

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our unified data architecture. This strategic role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build scalable secure and efficient Lakehouse platforms leveraging Databricks Spark PySpark DataOps and MLOps practices. You will define data strategies architect robust pipelines and enable advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities
Architect and implement scalable Lakehouse solutions using Databricks and open data formats (Delta Lake Parquet).
Design and optimize high-performance distributed data processing systems using Apache Spark and PySpark.
Establish data architecture patterns that enable real-time and batch data processing across structured and unstructured data.
Integrate DataOps and MLOps practices to automate and streamline data pipeline deployments monitoring and lifecycle management.
Lead architectural design sessions data modeling efforts and performance tuning activities.
Define data governance metadata management and data quality frameworks.
Mentor data engineering and analytics teams on best practices and technical implementation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders data scientists and DevOps teams to understand data needs and deliver comprehensive data solutions.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
experience in designing and implementing data solutions in large-scale enterprise environments.
Deep expertise in Databricks including Delta Lake Unity Catalog and MLflow.
Advanced experience in Spark PySpark and distributed data systems.
Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering and modeling tasks.
Hands-on experience with DataOps tools and practices (e.g. CI/CD for data observability versioning).
Working knowledge of MLOps workflows including model deployment monitoring and lineage.
Solid understanding of cloud data platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
Experience in implementing security privacy and compliance controls in modern data platforms.
Strong leadership communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Certification in Databricks (e.g. Databricks Certified Data Engineer/Architect).
Experience with real-time data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Delta Live Tables.
Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow Databricks Workflows or Dagster.
