Job description:
The Regional Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting regional financial operations including accounting and tax activities to ensure compliance with local and international regulations. The role also provides administrative and operational support to the finance function. This position requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and a solid understanding of financial reporting and tax compliance within a multinational environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform AR/AP reconciliations analyze financial transactions and support month-end and period-close activities across the region.
Support regional tax compliance (corporate tax VAT withholdings) including government surveys and coordination with local accountants.
Monitor and analyze financial transactions ensuring proper classification and reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
Organize and maintain financial records invoices and other documentation providing and organizing information to our local accountants.
Assist in preparing sorting and filing accounting and administrative documents (digital).
Coordinate the Insurance commercial policies issuing.
Support collecting withholding certificates with customers and vendors.
Provide ongoing support to the Finance Manager to ensure smooth daily financial operations.
Coordinate timely information flow with SSC internal and external auditors headquarters and other stakeholders.
Education:
Bachelors degree in finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of tax laws payroll processing and general accounting principles.
Proficiency in financial software (Microsoft dynamics SAP Oracle or similar ERP systems).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Language:
Minimum English level B2.
