You are an energetic leader that drives the team of regional sales managers and sales representatives across a specific discipline or geography to deliver and exceed on performance targets. You will align with the sales and core strategy to maximize revenues volume and share growth for core and local categories. Through coaching and guidance you enable the senior sales team to build capability.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Deliver excellent point-of-sales management
- Ensure excellence in in-store activities execution and optimization (distribution promotion shelving)
- Lead trade negotiation and optimize trade spendingat point of sale
- Lead strategic key account management of assigned key accounts
- Share best practices around field sales force organization sales tools improvement hot zone activation and impulse
What you will bring

- Strong leadership and people management experience gained within FMCG/CPG (sales key account management brand management field sales force management) preferred
- In depth knowledge of country trade environment and commercial leverages
- Well-developed skills in communication and negotiation

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced commercial leader to take on the role of Managing Director for Portugal leading the growth agenda of our Sales organization and shaping the next chapter of Mondelez in the market.
As Managing Director you will drive the business forward represent Mondelez with key internal and external stakeholders and play a critical role in building a strong commercial organization and culture in Portugal. You will work closely with the Iberia and Cluster leadership teams collaborating across functions to unlock the full potential of the business and our people.
How you will contribute
Mondelez Portugal is a 100M business with a team of 100 people in the organization.
As Managing Director you will lead the market with a clear ambition: drive growth build a winning organization and strengthen Mondelezs presence in Portugal.
Your role will focus on three key dimensions:
Shape the future of the business
- Define and lead the Portugal vision strategy and commercial agenda ensuring strong alignment with the European and category strategies.
- Drive sustainable growth across revenue volume and share by translating strategy into clear commercial priorities and actions.
- Bring a strong market perspective to European discussions ensuring local insights shape long- and short-term business decisions.
Lead a high-performing organization
- Build and develop a strong commercial organization empowering leaders and teams to perform at their best.
- Foster a culture of ownership collaboration and excellence across the Portugal organization and the broader Mondelez community.
- Ensure the right capabilities structure and ways of working to deliver impact and accelerate growth.
Represent and strengthen Mondelez in the market
- Act as the key representative of Mondelez Portugal with customers industry stakeholders and external partners.
- Develop strong strategic relationships with key customers and partners to unlock mutual growth.
- Champion the highest standards of ethics integrity and compliance creating a culture where people feel empowered to speak up and do the right thing.
Requirements:
- Strong commercial background
- Experience in FMCG and matrix organization
- International experience /exposure
- English fluent
- Portuguese and Spanish nice to have
