Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its clients Safeguarding Assessment Team at Hartlepool.
Our client has a friendly supportive team committed to delivering highquality safeguarding services to children young people and their families.
As a Social Worker in our team you will play a vital role in providing statutory support and intervention to families where safeguarding concerns have been identified. Youll work flexibly between home and office receive regular supervision and collaborate closely with experienced colleagues in a positive and inclusive environment.
What will your responsibilities be
- Deliver a statutory safeguarding social work service to children young people and their families in line with current legislation and Hartlepool Borough Council procedures.
- Undertake assessments Section 47 enquiries care planning and reviews ensuring that the voice of the child is central to all decisionmaking.
- Provide direct social work intervention to support children and families in crisis or at risk of breakdown.
- Work collaboratively with families carers and partner agencies to develop and implement effective support and safety plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely case records and reports in line with professional standards.
- Participate in regular supervision and reflective practice with your line manager.
- Contribute to a positive team culture sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
