Job Summary
Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview is looking for an Automotive Technician / Mechanic to perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning on our used vehicle inventory. This position offers steady internal work in a busy high-volume dealership environment.
This is a great opportunity for a technician who enjoys working on multiple makes and models and wants consistent workflow without waiting on customer approvals.
Responsibilities
Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on used inventory
Identify repairs needed to bring vehicles to front-line ready condition
Work on multiple makes and models (domestic and import)
Ability to multitask and manage multiple vehicles at different stages of repair
Maintain quality workmanship and efficiency
Qualifications
Automotive repair knowledge and mechanical ability
Ability to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently
Must be able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced shop environment
Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant supervision
Valid drivers license
