Weekly Gross Pay: $2300 $2500 (Based on Experience)
Position Overview
A healthcare facility in Morristown VT is seeking an experienced Med Surg / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive patient care in both the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units. The RN will monitor patient conditions interpret cardiac rhythms and deliver high-quality nursing care while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units.
Monitor cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment and report abnormalities to physicians.
Assess patient conditions monitor vital signs and document clinical findings.
Administer medications IV therapy and treatments as prescribed.
Deliver age-specific patient care using the nursing process.
Coordinate patient care with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans medications and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Follow all patient safety infection control and hospital policies.
Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of tasks to appropriate staff members.
Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal healthcare regulations.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License Vermont or Compact State License
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) Certification
