Purpose Of The Job:
Our client in the automotive industry is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to oversee and manage the Parts Departments across three dealership locations in the Pretoria region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient parts operations inventory management profitability and excellent internal and external customer service across the dealerships. This role requires a strong leader with solid operational and commercial understanding of dealership parts departments.
A multi-brand background will be advantageous as the role involves working across different dealership environments.
Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee the Parts Departments across three dealership operations
- Ensure efficient parts inventory control ordering and stock management
- Monitor and improve parts sales performance and departmental profitability
- Maintain optimal stock levels and parts availability
- Ensure accurate forecasting purchasing and supplier management
- Lead train and develop parts department staff
- Maintain strong relationships with OEMs and parts suppliers
- Ensure all administrative processes and reporting requirements are maintained
- Implement strategies to increase parts sales and operational efficiency
- Ensure excellent customer service to both internal departments and external customers
Requirements:- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Parts Manager within the automotive industry
- Proven experience managing high-volume parts departments
- Multi-brand dealership experience advantageous
- Strong knowledge of parts inventory systems and dealership operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent administrative and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple sites and operational responsibilities
