Job Summary
We are looking for aspiring and suitably qualified individuals to join our Capital Works Business Unit (CWBU) where we work with our stakeholders to create sustainable transport solutions for the community and we care for our staff and provide a great place to work.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of construction engineers and inspectors to manage improvement works including replacement upgrade and modification of high voltage (HV) / low voltage (LV) systems and associated building services and builders works
- Manage a number of projects from planning feasibility studies design review site supervision contract administration to project delivery to ensure that all project works are carried out safely timely within budget and in compliance with all statutory requirements and specifications
- Liaise with various stakeholders to facilitate the smooth running of construction contracts commissioning and handover
- Support the development of annual business plan and budgets with inputs from interfacing departments
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years experience in Power Systems / E&M construction / building improvement works
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution is preferred
- Experience in operating railway projects and knowledge of Railway Safety Rules and statutory submissions e.g. Building Department Safety & Security Coordinating Committee and Station & Transport Integration Committee are advantages
Remarks
- Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
