Resolve Recruit is partnering with a major Commonwealth Government agency to identify an experienced SAP Technical Lead to guide the delivery of complex enterprise software solutions.

This role sits at the centre of large-scale digital platforms that underpin critical public services. You will provide technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle driving architecture decisions engineering standards and delivery outcomes within a highly collaborative environment.

Working alongside architects delivery teams and senior stakeholders you will shape technical strategy while ensuring high-quality secure and scalable software solutions are delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning architecture design and development of large-scale SAP solutions
• Provide technical leadership across complex enterprise software development initiatives
• Drive engineering standards development methodologies and systems integration practices
• Oversee release management deployment processes and production support activities
• Ensure adherence to security principles architecture standards and technical governance frameworks
• Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders across architecture delivery and operations teams
• Identify emerging technologies and contribute to strategic technology roadmaps
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and support organisational capability uplift across engineering teams

Key Experience and Skills:

• Extensive experience leading complex enterprise software development initiatives
• Strong background in SAP environments particularly across ABAP S/4HANA or related SAP technologies
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain engineering standards architecture principles and development frameworks
• Experience overseeing release governance testing frameworks and configuration management processes
• Proven ability to drive automation continuous integration and modern development practices
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience operating in large enterprise or government delivery environments will be highly regarded
