Key Responsibilities

Energy Industry Research and Analysis Participates in energy industry seminars and meetings to stay abreast of market developments and opportunities for PGE; leverages best practices/insights industry trends and emerging technology that will best advance PGEs research efforts and position the company as a market leader.

Product Testing and Assessment Leads testing of integrated energy system technologies and economic analysis (value proposition) for strategic technology initiatives.

Product Development Planning and Implementation Develops near- and long-term product roadmaps for assigned product lines; formulates innovative and cost-effective concepts and strategies and initiates product development for assigned products; leads the development of business plans business models and strategic marketing plans for assigned products and services; prepares governance materials including measurement and evaluation plans; facilitates development of regulatory strategy for assigned products and services; designs and implements customer service processes and procedures internally and with vendors to ensure a high-quality customer experience.

Resources and Internal Relations Collaborates with and integrates operating departments and resources (internal and external) needed in delivering pilots and programs; provides guidance to less experienced colleagues; leads team to achieve on time on budget and provide effective program/product introductions.

Product Promotion Ensures effective and impactful promotion and collateral development for market introductions; prepares communications for executives and external audiences including mass communications needed for programs and pilots.

Program Budget and Project Status Manages program budgets; reviews and reports program revenue and expenses; prepares project status reports and presentations on product functionality for management; tracks evaluates and reports on program performance.

Vendor Management Manages relationships with and performance of vendors.

External Relations Represents PGE interests on external committees related to assigned products; prepares communications for external audiences; shares experiences in program design with industry peers; conducts customer research and program evaluation to identify customer needs awareness and satisfaction to expand customers program participation.

Education/Experience/Certifications

Education Requires a bachelors degree in business economics marketing communications or other related field or equivalent experience.

Experience Typically eight or more years in product development project management or related field.
