Make your mark in Actuarial

Our Actuaries are on the front lines quantifying risk pricing insurance and reserving losses for AIGs major insurance operating companies globally. We collaborate with Finance Claims Operations Marketing and Risk Management among other functions. As an AIG actuary you will be challenged and encouraged to reach your greatest potential to help improve how we predict manage and mitigate risk.

How you will create an impact

• Perform Local and USGAAP Reserves and Consistency Tests for Brazil legal entities

• Perform USGAAP LTP (RVNE) Studies for Latin America entities explain results and communicate with LAC Actuaries

• Perform IBNR Studies identify trends and explain results and any portfolio deviations to Actuarial and UWs leaders

• Perform Actual x Expected Studies and explain results to actuarial and UWs leaders

• Define Budget LR together with Pricing and UW Teams

• Work close to FP&A UWs Product and Reinsurance Teams

• Support business to set clear actions plans to improve profitability and monitor results.

• Support actuarial team

What youll need to succeed

• Data driven and strong analytical skills

• Recognized experience in Reserving Techniques

• Solid experience in SUSEP rules and actuarial functions (Reserves Capital TAP QEs. Consistency Tests)

• Solid experience with Technical Provisions (UPR (PPNG) LTP (RVNE) IBNYR IBNER ALAE (PDR) ULAE RVR)

• Solid experience with IBNR Techniques (Run Off Triangles BF and ELR)

• Solid experience in SAS or Python Programming (Python is a differential)

• Intermediate English skills is desirable (Spanish is a differential)

• Experience with Portfolio Profitability Monitoring Studies is a desirable

• Experience with Defining Budget LR is a differential

• Excellent communication skills ability to work collaborative and effectively with cross functional teams

• Highly organized pro-active attention to detail and results oriented

• Local certified Actuary is a desirable
