How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW
The incumbent will manage the quantitative and qualitative analysis of products according to specification from HP Filling Station; Bulk (Storage & road tankers) and Medical Filling Station. Play a periodical oversight on the filling and product handling process to ensure that it complies with the GMP requirements.
Main Accountabilities
Analyse prepared gas mixtures and other products according to specification efficiently and punctually
Ensure that calibration gasses used are available and within a stability period.
Adhere to Air Liquide SHEQ and IMS requirements.
Ensure analytical equipment used is calibrated and within calibration period.
Maintain all analytical equipment in good operating condition and report all faults.
Ensure that all batch manufacturing records for every batch are properly completed checked and filed.
Train and qualify all QC Laboratory Analysts.
Ensure that IMS and SHEQ documents and records are updated.
Retention of records providing effective traceability
Adhere to food safety prerequisite programmes (PRPs) SOPs and the food safety management system to meet customer and product specifications of food grade gases
Participate in the internal and external audits
Ensure that batch records are captured in Intelex.
Randomly monitor the filling and product handling process to ensure that it complies with the GMP requirements.

Qualification Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or analytical chemistry Technical Degree or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years experience Experience in Laboratory environment and heavy industry will be advantageous
