Job Summary

About the Role

Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior ETL Developer to support enterprise data platforms. The role focuses on designing and maintaining data acquisition pipelines developing ETL solutions and ensuring reliable data integration for analytics and reporting platforms.

You will work closely with the Business Intelligence and Business Analytics team to build scalable data pipelines and support a centralized data repository used across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement technical solutions for data acquisition and storage in centralized data repositories.
Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for extracting transforming and loading data from multiple data sources.
Build and optimize ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica tools.
Develop ETL scripts and implement data driven logic with unit testing.
Design and optimize database models to improve performance and scalability.
Perform data quality checks and investigate data issues from source systems.
Provide operational support and troubleshoot issues related to ETL pipelines and data loads.
Execute service requests for routine and ad hoc data loads.
Re engineer ETL processes to support migration to Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
Produce technical documentation and design artifacts to support long term maintenance of solutions.
Ensure data delivered to analytics platforms is reliable structured and accessible to business users.

Star schema and snowflake schema design
Advanced SQL and query optimization
Relational and dimensional data modeling
Python scripting
Unix / Linux shell scripting
Cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud
Cloud data warehouse technologies such as Amazon Redshift

Core Experience

10 years experience designing and developing enterprise data warehouse solutions.
10 years experience building and optimizing ETL / ELT pipelines.
Experience translating technical system specifications into working applications.
Experience supporting large scale mission critical enterprise systems.
Strong experience with SDLC including design development testing and deployment.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
Experience producing system design documentation and technical specifications.

Public Sector Experience (Preferred)

Experience working on large public sector or healthcare IT systems.
Knowledge of public sector enterprise architecture practices.
Familiarity with government IT project governance and approval processes.
Knowledge of PMI based project management methodologies.
