Job Title: Senior Data Analyst (Power BI PySpark Snowflake)
Location: Hybrid (1 day/month in office) Toronto Canada
Experience: 5 Years
Rate: 60 to 65 CAD PH

Role Summary
We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on a project focused on data-driven decision-making and analytics. Youll help transform complex datasets into meaningful insights while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights that support business decisions
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Looker
• Work with PySpark and Snowflake SQL to process and analyze data efficiently
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and set clear expectations
• Write and optimize SQL queries across systems like Snowflake Hive and Presto
• Support data validation debugging and troubleshooting across pipelines
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Work independently while contributing to team goals in a fast-paced environment

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience with Power BI and Looker for data visualization
• Hands-on experience with Python and PySpark for data processing
• Solid expertise in Snowflake SQL and data analysis
• Good understanding of databases and query optimization (Hive Snowflake Presto)
• Strong communication skills including requirement gathering and stakeholder interaction
• Ability to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with data mining techniques including supervised and unsupervised learning
• Familiarity with Spark or PySpark for data debugging and analysis
• Exposure to Airflow for workflow orchestration
• Comfortable working in cross-functional and matrix team environments
