Job Summary

Metadata Profiling Analyst (BA)

Plano TX

Interview Process: Video and possible onsite

This role is Hybrid onsite 3 days/week in Plano TX.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with end-client application owners to collect understand and profile metadata for integration into the enterprise metadata management platform
Analyze metadata structures and ensure alignment with Data Governance policies and platform requirements
Use SQL to run queries for data extraction validation and troubleshooting during metadata profiling
Communicate effectively with technical and non technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues
Document metadata profiling activities onboarding steps and data quality findings
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Data Governance team to enhance metadata quality and consistency

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science Data Management or related field
Strong SQL skills including writing and optimizing queries.
Good knowledge of metadata concepts structures and governance practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to analyze complex datasets and identify data quality issues

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the telecom industry
Familiarity with data lineage data modeling or ETL processes
Knowledge of enterprise application ecosystems and governance frameworks
