Primary Function
The Logistics Manageris responsible forsupervising the logistic services team in an on-siteshelterfacility.Responsible for the oversight ofsupply chain services property management inventory clothinglaundryand valuables. Liaison with the corporatecontract and supply managementoffice to ensureAcuitypolicies and procedures are beingfollowedand that contractual deliverables are met. Responsible for the completion of assignments related to supporting the needs of the department.

Responsibilities
Supervises all functional areas within thelogisticsdepartment
Developand implement processes to ensure adequate management of GFP (Government Furnished Property) from acquisitionthroughfinal disposition
Responsible for overall performance of thelogisticsdepartment to include adequate practices for the management of supply chain property control inventory laundry servicesetc..
Enforces corporate policiesin regard tocompliance with applicable laws and regulations related to supply chain and property management
Monitor performance and implement corrective actions for deficienciesidentifiedduring daily review of functional areas
Develops a motor-pool process to ensure properutilizationand maintenance of vehicles
Developschedules and inventory processes that meet the needs of theresidentsin the facility
Coordinateslogisticsservices with site leadership
Responsible fortimelyupdates to applicable policies and procedures related to Logistics operations
Develop andmaintainmetrics to measure performance of all functional areas of the department
Develop and implement processes to ensure propertyis issued andreturned correctly and ina timelyfashion
Keeps documentation of allinventories
Ensures policies and procedures arefollowed at all times
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in business administration humanservicesor similar occupational area
At aminimumeight (8) years of procurement andpersonal propertymanagement experience.
At a minimum five (5) years of experience in working witharchitectsand construction companies in thebuildingout of new office space for 25 offices or more.
Demonstrated experience shall includepersonal property/supplies needsanalysisand theacquisition tracking inventorying reporting maintenance and repair and disposal ofpersonal propertyin a Government environment.
Must havedemonstratedexperience inmaintainingpersonal propertydatabases.
Must havedemonstratedexperience in managing an inventory of at least 15000 tracked items (i.e. quantities not line items).
Musthave demonstratedknowledge of Federal property management regulations.
Experience in officerelocationsis desirable.
1 year of supervisory experience
Mustbe able to multi-task be detail-oriented be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills
Proficiencywith computer and common office equipment as well as with MS Office products
Ability to obtain andmaintainfavorable backgroundinvestigations
Must be proficient in English; able to receive and understand detailed information through oral and written communication.

Abilityto workfull timehoursweekends and holidays.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be a US citizenor permanent resident Resided in the US for 3 years in the past 5 years.
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of residential facility experience preferred
CPR/First Aid certification
Bilingual
Has undergone a federal investigation at the level of Tier 2 orhigher;has been granted favorable suitability/eligibility and has not had a break in service for more than24 months.
