Community Medical Centers has been providing central California with the highest level of care available in the region. Community Regional Medical Center measures up with top hospitals nationally and is the 3rd largest in California! With 685 beds we are home to the only comprehensive Burn and Level I Trauma center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. The 56000 square-foot emergency department is one of the largest and busiest in California! We have an 84-bed Level III NICU and plan to significantly expand pediatric specialty care. Our hospital serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties averaging a daily census of 641 patients. Were affiliated with UCSF as a teaching facility; trained 3000 Medical Doctors to date plus continuous invests in research and training grants.
Responsibilities
As a Stationary Engineer ypu will Operate and maintain plant machinery equipment and systems of the facility. Perform maintenance for all service requests logs and routine rounds. As well as maintain a safe working environment.
1. Operation maintenance and repair of all boilers heaters pumps valves appurtenances and lines used in the distribution of steam and heated or processed water.
2. Operation repair and maintenance of refrigerated compressors condensers evaporators traps transfer pumps expansion valves stop valves and float valves together with all refrigerant lines and devices used to control temperatures.
3. Operation repair and maintenance of pumps handling brines and other secondary refrigerating liquids together with all valves appurtenances and lines used in the system.
4. Operation maintenance and repair of all compressors together with distribution lines and all valves and devices for air control.
5. Operation maintenance and repair of all natural and manufacturing gas distribution lines including all valves and control devices.
6. Operation maintenance and repair of all water filters softeners piping and pumps used in conjunction with water distribution.
7. Operation maintenance and repair of all types of motors and engines used to power pumps compressors and fans.
8. Maintenance and repair of main electrical distribution systems and other systems normally maintained and repaired by Stationary Engineers.
9. It is understood and agreed that the classifications as listed in this contract accept full responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the equipment and duties.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Experience
- 4 years of experience in related field required
