Warehouse Manager

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee all daily warehouse functions and ensure efficient accurate and safe operations. This role is responsible for leading warehouse teams managing inventory processes optimizing workflows and maintaining high performance standards in a fastpaced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
This position may be required to perform additional tasks responsibilities or duties as assigned:
- Direct the scheduling of resources to ensure proper materials flow systems management receiving and logistics processing.
- Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed
- Supervise and train receiving staff
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
- Monitor and control operational costs
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize process
- Ensure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective inventory control over the physical product flow and accounting of inventory receiving and shipping of product.
- Coordinate communications with customers employees and the management team.
- Responsible for Inventory storage and warehousing.
- Ensures compliance to meet the quality standards of handling storing and delivery of product.
- Maintain work environment with respect to safety efficiency and cleanliness.
- Maintain departmental working relationships to achieve total performance requirements. Effective communication negotiation and teamwork skills will all be used.
- Completes assignments projects and other related duties as required by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION:
- 2 years supervisory experience with distribution experience highly preferred.
- Must be able to communicate (both verbal and written) at all levels within the organization.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be certified in Forklift operations.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
- Have a good understanding of Inventory management system and shipping logistics systems.
- Must be able to communicate (both verbal and written) at all levels within the organization.
- Substantial amount of walking standing and bending.
