Job Summary

Infosys is seeking a Java Backend Developer- In this role you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Iselin NJ/Charlotte NCorbe willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Experience working with NoSQL Database such as MongoDB and RDBMS as well with databases such as SQL Server Oracle or MySQL
Experienceof microservices development domain driven design and APIs design
Experience with Cloud technologies enterprise pipelines based on Gradle Maven and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Harness Github etc.
Expertise with Java Framework and Libraries. Has experience with various Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring Hibernate Java EE and others. Has experience building robust applications using these frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

A high degree of initiative and flexibility. High customer orientation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Build robust APIs microservices and workflow-based processing systems.
Design and implement scalable distributed systems components and services for the commercial banking service platform.
Design code test debug and document high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and partner with product operations and architecture teams
Ensure operational excellence through monitoring quality engineering and automated workflows.
Be responsible for participating in the creation and implementation of a technology framework and providing strong technical expertise to application development teams and senior technology management.
Collaborate and consult with key architects SMEs senior technology and other technology partners to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
Mentor junior engineers and guide teams on delivery estimations grooming and velocity management.
At least 5years of industry experience in software design and development.
At least 4years of Core Java experience with Java open-source stack & frameworks Spring Spring boot
Experience in financial services industry
Experience with integration and building APIs in REST using Camel Fuse etc.
Experience in working utilizing domain driven design event driven architecture and SOLID principles
Experience in messaging technologies: Kafka IBM MQ Active MQ
Experience with Enterprise Security Infrastructure (Ping OKTA etc.)
At least 6 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Good Analytical skills.

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in the below locations will be:
Iselin NJ : 80523 to 104680

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
