DescriptionThe Audiology Assistant works under the direction of licensed audiologists to support patient flow and provide administrative assistance. Strong organization clear communication and attention to detail are key to success in this role. The position is essential in maintaining efficient clinic operations and delivering excellent patient care.
The is a Time-Limited position. Part-time up to 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Support patient flow and staging of the patient during clinic appointments.
- Collect clinical results under the supervision of audiologists.
- Support management of invoices documents contracts and other clerical needs within the audiology division.
- Manage supplies and medical device orders for patients.
- Support patient communication needs incuding voicemails emails and mychart
- Maintain IRB compliance.
- Assist with routine data collection and documentation activities.
- Participate in preparation of study materials and testing spaces.
- Help with organizing and maintainig research-related records.
- Perform preliminary data entry and quality-check taks.
- Help ensure that study procedures follow established guidelines.
QualificationsThis position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six years of experience in office or administrative support.
College education may be substituted for the required experience on a year for year basis.
State of Florida Audiology Assistant License.
