Our client a major infrastructure contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to join a rail infrastructure program supporting maintenance and major works across the Sydney rail network.
This role will support engineering coordination across a long-term rail framework program involving maintenance upgrades and infrastructure improvements.
About the Role
Working within a brownfield rail environment you will assist in coordinating engineering and construction activities to ensure works are delivered safely efficiently and in accordance with project schedules.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinate construction engineering activities across project works
Monitor construction progress and ensure delivery aligns with program schedules
Prepare compliance documentation and progress reporting
Manage QA/QC processes and quality documentation
Raise and manage non-conformance reports and requests for information
Support contract compliance and project reporting requirements
Assist with monthly reporting on project progress and performance
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline)
Minimum 3 years experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects
Experience working within rail environments highly desirable
Strong project planning and organisational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within construction teams
