Job Summary

As an IT Architect you will:

Design and define the architecture for migrating an on-premises ECM / Document Management system to the Azure Cloud.
Lead the transition of enterprise content platforms from traditional infrastructure to cloud-native or hybrid cloud environments.
Develop architecture blueprints and technical roadmaps aligned with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate.
Collaborate with development infrastructure and DevOps teams to implement scalable Azure-based solutions.
Define and implement secure API integrations using Azure API Management (APIM).
Design containerized and microservices-based architecture using Kubernetes and modern cloud-native practices.
Support CI/CD pipeline setup and automation for application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
Ensure system architecture aligns with enterprise IT standards governance and best practices.
Work closely with stakeholders to modernize document management systems and optimize digital workflows.

What You Bring to the Table:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Architect in a development-oriented IT environment.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud infrastructure architecture.
Solid understanding of ECM (Enterprise Content Management) or Document Management platforms.
Experience with OpenText Document environments (on-premise or private cloud).
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF ArchiMate and SAFe.
Practical knowledge of cloud-native architectures hybrid cloud environments and distributed systems.
Experience working with Azure services including API Management Kubernetes and DevOps pipelines.
Understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) and event-driven architecture principles.
Experience in designing scalable and secure enterprise application architectures.

You should possess the ability to:

Translate business and technical requirements into scalable architectural solutions.
Design end-to-end cloud architectures and migration strategies for enterprise systems.
Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend modernization approaches.
Communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including developers DevOps engineers and operations teams.
Apply IT processes architectural methodologies and governance frameworks in real-world projects.
Identify risks and dependencies in system architecture and propose mitigation strategies.
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance scalability and cost efficiency.
Drive digital transformation initiatives related to enterprise content and document management platforms.
