Enterprise Architect (Azure & ECM Migration)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Architect to support AFI-KLM EM in a strategic transformation initiative: the migration of our on-premise Enterprise Content Management (ECM) landscape based on OpenText Documentum to the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

This role will initially focus on ECM modernization and cloud migration with potential involvement in additional enterprise architecture initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and guidance for ECM migration from on-premise systems to Azure Cloud
• Define and govern end-to-end enterprise architecture for cloud and hybrid environments
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise strategy
• Design scalable secure and resilient cloud architectures using Azure services
• Support integration of ECM platforms with enterprise systems and digital workflows
• Ensure adherence to architectural standards governance and best practices
• Contribute to roadmap development for cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives

Required Experience & Skills

• 810 years of overall IT experience including at least 3 years as an IT/Enterprise Architect
• Strong experience in development-driven IT environments
• Proven expertise with Microsoft Azure including:
  • Azure infrastructure and platform services
  • Azure API Management (APIM)
  • Kubernetes / AKS
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Solid understanding of ECM / Document Management systems preferably OpenText Documentum (on-prem or private cloud)
• Experience with modern architecture paradigms:
  • Cloud-native & hybrid cloud solutions
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as:
  • TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
  • ArchiMate
  • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
• Strong understanding of IT processes methods and architectural governance
• Experience in large-scale transformation or migration programs
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Nice to Have

• Exposure to aviation Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environments
• Experience with digitalization initiatives in enterprise maintenance operations
• Prior involvement in ECM modernization or content platform migrations
