Summary
- This is a 3-month contract position with a local authority aimed at delivering high-quality outreach and home-based Early Help support to children young people and their families using a whole-family approach (Level 3). The role is crucial in providing targeted support to prevent escalation to statutory services promote positive outcomes and ensure smooth access to universal services for children and young people aged 025 and their families.
- Hold and manage complex Early Help cases (Level 3) including completing assessments coordinating Team Around the Family (TAF) meetings and acting as Lead Professional.
- Support cases that escalate to Level 4 to ensure a smooth transition between Early Help and Social Care.
- Deliver intensive targeted support to vulnerable children and young people including bespoke intervention packages for those with emotional or mental health challenges.
- Assess risk and need through Early Help assessments adopting the Lead Professional role where appropriate.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience working directly with children young people and families in Early Help social care education youth work or related settings.
- Experience managing a caseload and delivering targeted or intensive support to families.
- Experience conducting assessments and developing multi-agency plans such as EHAT TAF and Lead Professional duties.
Essential Qualifications Required
- Relevant Level 3 qualification (e.g. Childcare Social Care Youth Work Early Years or equivalent).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 35 hours per week
- Enhanced DBS required.
- Location: Liverpool North Connexions Centre Utting Avenue East Liverpool Merseyside L11 1DQ United Kingdom
- Work pattern: Currently 2 days working from home and 3 days in the office
- Payment: Bi-weekly
