Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen fora part time social workerto jointhe Eastbourne and South Wealden Neighbourhood support team based at St Marys House Eastbourne.
You will be part of an established dynamic and busy team and will be creative in your approach to the needs of our community and build on peoples assets with a strength-based approach.
You will need to be confident and competent in assessing risk identifying appropriate need and have experience of providing social care/ multidisciplinary interventions. The ability to work effectively in a team commitment to customer service and excellent communication skills are person assessments and reviews in the community we serve are an essential part of the role therefore an ability to meet the travelling requirements of this post will need to be demonstrated.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A wide range of Safeguarding experience.
- An ability to work independently and part of a team.
- In depth experience of risk assessment complex case management work.
- A good knowledge base and understanding of completing assessments under the Care Act 2014.
- Working within the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
