Summary
- The Registered Manager for the Reablement and Independence Service will provide strategic and operational leadership for a dedicated team delivering high-quality short-term outcome-focused reablement support. This role is crucial in ensuring safe effective person-centred care that aids individuals in regaining independence confidence and control over their daily lives enabling them to live safely at home and reduce reliance on long-term services.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong visible leadership for the Reablement and Independence Service fostering a positive supportive culture focused on high-quality outcomes.
- Lead day-to-day operations ensuring services run safely effectively and in line with CQC regulations and local authority policies.
- Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory standards including safeguarding health and safety medication management and data protection.
- Ensure safe staffing levels effective rota planning and appropriate deployment of resources across the service.
- Promote a strengths-based person-centred approach that maximises independence and wellbeing.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a managerial role within social care reablement domiciliary care rehabilitation or a regulated care environment.
- Experience in leading supervising and developing staff teams in a care setting.
- Experience working within CQC-regulated services including understanding inspections compliance and quality standards.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards if not already achieved).
- Up-to-date training in safeguarding adults health and safety and care governance.
- Mandatory CQC Registered Manager eligibility and suitability criteria.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday with on-call duties as required.
- 3 days in the office.
- Enhanced DBS required.
- Bi-weekly payment schedule.
The role closes on 19th March 2026 apply ASAP.
