Position Overview:

RISA is seeking a Cross-Domain Engineer to support a fast-paced team that is provisioning customer dataflow in an Enterprise Cross-Domain System.

Responsibilities:

Collect requirements from stakeholders and determine best implementation solution. Schedule/attend Technical Exchange Meetings (TEMs) to discuss/whiteboard design and implementation details.
Coordinates implementation approach and timeline with technical and project management staff.
Identifies and remediates potential implementation conflicts of CDS technologies across the enterprise.
Respond to and resolve service outages technical queries and other system-related issues.
Perform system checks (processes services network storage) to ascertain overall system health. Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation deliver technical presentations and effectively and accurately communicate technical information with co-workers and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Required:

Active TS/SCI Clearance Ability to successfully pass and maintain a Government Polygraph (post-hire requirement)
Bachelors Degree in a Technical Field and Six (6) years of applicable experience
DoD Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II
Experience with Linux operating systems; understanding of general operating system security practices TCP/IP networking and network security concepts.

Desired:

Experience working with Cross Domain Solutions and operationally supporting CDS technologies on the NCDSMO-approved products list.

Work Environment:

Professional Office Environment: Must be able to sit at a desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit stand talk hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone.
Must be able to communicate regularly via telephone and verbally present information to employees customers and outside vendors.

Expected Hours of Work:

40 hours per week based on the customers core operating hours.
