Part-Time Evening Cook Birkwood Village
Birkwood Village is seeking a dependable and compassionate Part-Time Evening Cook to join our Dietary Services team. This position plays an important role in creating a positive dining experience for our residents by preparing quality meals with care consistency and attention to detail.
Position Details
- Schedule: Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
- Shift: Evening shift (11 am - 7:30 p)
- Status: Part-time
- Environment: Supportive team resident-focused mission-driven community
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to menus dietary needs and food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
- Follow proper food handling sanitation and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure timely high-quality meal service
- Provide friendly respectful interactions with residents and coworkers
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or food service experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Commitment to providing excellent service to our residents
