Job Summary
The CT Technologist conducts computed tomography scans in accordance with referring physician directives leveraging advanced CT technology while accommodating the specific needs related to patient demographics such as age and other individual considerations.
The technologist applies their expertise in imaging parameters technical proficiency and patient management to achieve high-quality diagnostic images.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Educational credentials to satisfy certification licensure or registration standards.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association at the time of hire.
- Valid Oregon Medical Imaging License issued by the Oregon State Board upon hire.
- Active national registry as a Radiologic Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire.
- Obtain National Registered Technologist certification in Computed Tomography within one year of hire or acquire National Computed Tomography Technologist certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board within the same time frame.
