Point72s Operations team supports all operational aspects of trade processing reconciliation financing and reporting firmwide for all products including equities derivatives bonds foreign exchange and futures and digital assets across global markets.

What youll do

• Performdaily and monthly P&L reconciliationsbetween frontoffice and backoffice systems for the firms global investment portfolios.
• Partner withTrade Support Back Office and Valuations teamsto investigate and resolve P&L breaks across asset classes includingequities fixed income and derivatives.
• Produceclear accurate daily P&L variance reportsand communicate key drivers and findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Finalizeportfolio manager P&Lin frontoffice systems based on thorough variance checks calculations and analytical review directly impactinginvestment decisions investor reporting and compensation processes.
• Respond toP&L inquiriesfrom portfolio managers traders and investment services colleagues providingtimely wellreasoned and insightful responses.
• Driveprocess improvements and automation initiativesto enhance accuracy control speed and efficiency within P&L reconciliation and analysis workflows.
• Support management withteamlevel initiatives and firmwide projects including crossfunctional efforts and process enhancements.

Whats required

• Bachelors degree infinance business economics mathematics or a related field.
• 5 years of experiencein product control P&L or operations at a hedge fund asset manager or investment firm.
• Strongknowledge of financial instrumentsacross multiple asset classes.
• Proficiency inExcel.
• Superiorproblemsolving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in afastpaced teamoriented environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively withoffshore teams.
• Demonstrated commitment toaccuracy controls and bestinclass operational standards.
